Entropion and ectropion
Entropion and ectropion are eyelid conditions that involve the abnormal positioning of the eyelid edge, either turning inward (entropion) or outward (ectropion). These conditions can result in uncomfortable symptoms such as redness, fatigue, dryness, and the potential development of ulcers. To address these issues, eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is performed to reposition the eyelids to their correct alignment.
