OSDI test
The purpose of this test is to assess the severity and classification of the dry eye based on its symptoms. By answering the following questionnaire, the test provides an initial indication of the presence of dry eye and helps determine the appropriate treatment approach.
OSDI test
- If you obtained a score of 13 or lower, your test is normal. However, please keep in mind that approximately 30% of the population may have dry eye without experiencing obvious symptoms. It is important to attend your annual ophthalmology check-up to monitor your eye health.
- If you obtained a score between 13 and 22, you have mild to moderate dry eye. We recommend scheduling an appointment for a dry eye evaluation to determine the appropriate treatment for your condition.
- If you obtained a score between 24 and 48, you have moderate to severe dry eye. It is crucial to request an appointment for a dry eye evaluation so that we can assess your condition and recommend the appropriate treatment.
If your OSDI test score is higher than 13 points, we strongly advise you to visit our clinic for further evaluation and guidance regarding your dry eye condition.
